As soon as I heard about the earthquake that hit Virginia today, I thought about this verse:
I've heard several people say something to the effect that "the drought in Texas and Oklahoma, the rebels in Libya, the earthquake in Colorado yesterday, and now in Virginia...it sounds like the end-times to me."
It does to me too. And while I don't want to get into a debate regarding the timing of the second coming of Christ or the rapture, I do want to say this: in these days of such world-wide political unrest, daily reports of natural disasters, and general hatred towards Christianity, isn't it great to know that
The Lord of Hosts is with us
and that the God of Jacob is our stronghold?
So as the Apostle Paul said in I Thessalonians 4:18, "Encourage one another with these words" - will you?

P.S. Don't forget my iLove Life Linky Party going on here. Link submission closes in 3 days. It's looking a little lonely over there. (Shamelessly not hinting, I know.)
