a freebie printable + some other stuff

October is finally here! And the weather in Texas is finally (f.i.n.a.l.l.y. finally) cooling off! Last night David took the three half men to their homecoming game. They were so excited to be able to go, and guess what! There was even a church-sponsored "after party" called Fifth Quarter that they attended as well. It was the highlight of their week for sure!

To celebrate the arrival of October I have a freebie printable for you!

During the month of October I will be linking up with the Nester for 31 days of change. The topic is very close to my heart:

DAES of Our Lives

For those of you who don't know me in real life, and are new to the blog, I suffered with chronic pain and fatigue due to an autoimmune disorder called Fibromyalgia. I also had back surgery at the age of 21 which left me with scar tissue that basically acts like arthritis in my back. No fun, let me tell ya!

A little over a year ago I began treating my chronic illness with natural therapies and methods. I'm so very thankful that since January 1, 2011 I have taken medication only once (back in June when I took steroids for a week due to a bulging disc in my back.)

Y'all - that's huge! I used to be the chick who took vicodin and/or morphine for my pain. Now I don't even take advil for a headache!

During the month of October I will blog about the same subject for thirty-one days. Yikes! That's quite an undertaking! But I'm so excited to share with ya, so I hope you'll stick around for the ride!
