On Friendship

On Friday night two of my best friends and I went out for an impromptu girl's night out. I literally gave David 30 minutes notice that he was on his own for supper. (Sorry, Babe.)

Michelle and Christiy and I went out for Mexican food (my favorite) and then we headed a salon so Christiy could get her hair cut.

We finished the night by sharing a piece of cheese cake (another favorite of mine).

I know it doesn't sound terribly thrilling. But y'all, I can't tell you how much I really needed some girl time with two of my dearest friends.

We laughed.

We cried.

We talked.

We ate.

We shopped (but didn't buy).

We were together. Just the three of us. Encouraging one another. Loving on one another. Laughing with one another.

We all need that sometimes, don't we?

Happy Monday, y'all!
